Optimistic October

Ahhh it’s October already!! *drowns in mugging madness* i think i still have loads of stuff to revise and catch up and that’s so not being humble. Exams are in around a month’s time and the stress has been omnipresent ever since god-knows-when. And this blog is sinking into oblivion and disrepair with my reliance on FaceBook and laziness to post photos here and adjust one by one. The long-overdue blog theme update has been postponed indefinitely, sadly. I would love to change the look of this blog, it is starting to look so dated.

Microbiology is such a pain, though it’s interesting but that does not mean it is easy to study for. Oh, what about immunology? Ok i shall stop being whiny (obviously am not) and really start the rusty machinery soon. There is a bright side to this! *searches in a bag and hopes to find something*

I’ve made a new friend! Ok, not totally new, but still, i think i’m happy. Happy because he’s such a real person, and has little of all those diplomatic language that is pleasing to some but suspicious as time goes on. It’s funny how i get happy over such stuff but i think i like talking to people, maybe that’s why i became a medical student in the first place; it’s the interaction with different patients that i love and treasure. Although my mum says i might grow angsty and start to be one of those consultants whom you hate to talk to. I think, i will not. *fingers crossed*

It’s quite rare for me to pen down so many words in a long entry ever since my first few entries when i started this blog; this blog is turning into something like a ‘photo-blog’ recently, just photos and scrimping on words. But! A picture speaks a thousand words, and if i post 10-odd pictures it is enough words for a novel. A novel every blog post! I’m sold.

Oh. I just remembered pharmacology. Argh. I think i gotta really go do my revision now. *drowns in a sea of drugs and microbes* yes that is medical student life and i’m not complaining.

*******

On a side note, MA went well, problem has not worsened and i can live on! Yippee. It’s when you get sick that you treasure the intrinsic value of life. A healthy life.
